Canelo breaks up with girlfriend after finding out she bet $10K on Mayweather

Las Vegas, NV -- Soon after being defeated by Floyd "Money" Mayweather in the ring, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is said to have broken up with girlfriend Cynthia Rodriguez for being disloyal and betting against him in Saturday's Pay-per-view match.
Rodriguez, a singer/reality tv actress in Mexico, was reportedly given the boot after being discovered in Mayweather's locker room following the fight, exchanging jokes and counting piles of cash with the champ.
As he' done so many times before, Mayweather was busy stuffing cash ($40 million this time) into backpacks set to be transported and subsequently buried in the Mohave Desert when Alvares' now ex-girlfriend walked in and invited herself to the cash party.
As Rodriguez joked with Floyd about the obscene amount of money Canelo had made them, Carnelo's brother, Ramon Alvares, purportedly walked in and caught her standing on a chair swiping dollar bills off her left hand and saying, "throwing huneds, huneds".
The drama that ensued next could only be described as a one hell of a Mexican telenovela, with gloves, hairbands, accusations, and chanclas flying back and forth. But in this case there was no happy ending, and when it was all set and done, the hero stood a lonely, beaten man as the villains laughed all the way to the bank, or stripclub.
Asked later, during an interview with Televisa, why she had betrayed Canelo in such a treacherous manner, the Mexican singer replied, "um, because I knew he wasn't going to win, just like everyone else that made money off him, including you and your slimy network".
Calls to Canelo were not immediately returned, but Floyd did call us to brag and let us know that no one will ever find out where his backpacks with cash are buried. When asked if he had ever heard of banks, he hung up.
